How does a teacher know about the pre-conference prompts?
Background
Once a principal schedules an observation, the teacher will receive a notification in his/her dashboard. At that point, the teacher can begin preparing for the observation.
The previous article covered how the principals sends the pre-conference prompts to the teacher. This article covers the notification that the teacher will receive in the eVAL tool about the pre-conference prompts.
Let's Get Started
Click on the Observations link to the left of the orange NEW notification.

The teacher will be taken to the Observations section of the page, where you can see more information about the new Observation activity.
- Locate the orange NEW notification, and read the description of the new activity that is nearby the notification.
- To see the specific activity that is new, click on the green View button in the right column.

The page for the Observation Setup tab will be displayed. Click on the Pre tab.
