What are some useful features of the Notes Editor in eVAL?

Background:

Now that you're ready to script an observation, you'll be ready to use some of the neat features of eVAL's Notes Editor. Read on to learn more about these features!

  1. The first tool in the top row of tools is the Expand tool. This allows you to fill your screen with the Notes Editor, and hides the other parts of the window. Other tools that follow are Undo, Re-Do, Bold, Italics, Underline, Ordered List, Unordered List, Insert Date and Insert Time.
  2. The Insert Date and Insert Time (both mentioned in Number 1 above) are great tools for stamping the date and start time at the onset of the observation. See the image below.
  3. The Insert Time tool is also great for time-stamping the end of the observation. See the image below.
