How does the teacher view the observation notes that have been shared by the principal?

Background:

If the principal has shared the observation notes with the teacher, the teacher will need to sign in to eVAL to read them. Keep in mind that when the principal shares the observation notes, the coding is not shared with them.

Steps for the teacher to take:

When the teacher next signs into eVAL, they will see an orange NEW notification icon next to the link called Observations. That should serve as a sign to the teacher that something new has been added or changed to the Observations module.

  1. The orange notification icon is not hyperlinked, but the word Observations is.
  2. Click on the Observations link next to the orange notification icon to get more information about the additions or changes that have been made.

Clicking on the Observations link (above) will reveal the Observations section of the teacher's dashboard.

  1. The teacher will be able to see where the new activity in the Observation module has taken place.
  2. The teacher should click on the green View button to drill down about the shared observation notes.

In the Observations module that appears, the teacher will now see an Observe tab that hasn't been there until the principal shared some observation data (in this case, the observation notes). The teacher should click on the Observe tab to view the observation notes that were scribed and shared by their evaluating principal.
