Workflow Status Notifications
As a District Administrator you can now check on the status of several important workflow events across staff in your district and send notifications to principals or teachers to make them aware of important milestones. The feature is available from you dashboard on the Workflow Status tab.
Notification Type Summary
The following types of notifications are covered:
- Teacher/Evaluator/Eval Cycle Assignments: This query will find all teachers that are not yet set up with an assigned evaluator and evaluation cycle and send all principals at the school a notification.
- Student Growth Submission Past Due: This query will find all teachers that have not yet submitted their goals for sign-off and send each teacher a notification.
- Student Growth Goals Sign-off Past Due: This query will find all principals that have goals waiting for their sign-off and sends each principal a notification.
- Incomplete Observations: This query will find all principals that have observations that are not Complete/Locked and sends each principal a notification.
- Incomplete Summative Evaluations: This query will find all principals that have teacher evaluations that have not been submitted and send each principal a notification.
- Summative Evaluations waiting for Acknowledgement: This query finds all teachers that have summative evaluations that are waiting for their acknowledgement and sends each teacher a notification.
- Custom Teacher Message: Send all teachers at the selected school a custom message.
- Custom Principal Message: Sends all principals AT ALL SCHOOLS a custom message.
For each notification type you can first run a status report to see the list of teachers/principals that meet the query criteria. You can also run a notification log report to see all notifications that have been sent to date.
Selecting Notification Recipients
The first step is to determine whether you want to filter the queries to a particular school or the entire district. To do this you can change the Schools drop down from All Schools to select a specific school.
When the Count reflects the numer of teacher that meet the criteria and the emai recipients are principals, the count does not equal the number of email notifications that will be sent. For example, in the case where principals will be notified of observations, goals, or summative evaluations that are incomplete, one principal will likely be respononsible for multiple teachers ad receive a single email that includes multiple teachers. The email will contain a table listing each teacher that meets the criteria. This is demonstrated in the sample emails below.
Teacher/Evaluator/Eval Cycle Assignment Notifications
Description: This query will find all teachers that are not yet set up with an assigned evaluator and evaluation cycle (Comprehensive or Focused) and send all principals at the school a notification.
Count: The number of teachers that meet this criteria and will be sent an email notification.
Recipient: At each school where there are teachers that meet this criteria, an email notification will be sent to the principals at the school informing them of the teachers that need attention.

Student Growth Goals Submission Past Due
Description: This query will find all teachers that have not yet submitted their goals for sign-off and send each teacher a notification.
Count: The number of teachers that meet this criteria and will be sent an email notification.
Recipients: At each school where there are teachers that meet this criteria, an email notification will be sent to the teacher informing them that their goals need attention.

Description: This query finds all teachers that have summative evaluations that are waiting for their acknowledgement and sends each teacher a notification.
Count: The number of teachers that meet this criteria and will be sent an email notification.
Recipients: At each school where there are teachers that meet this criteria, an email notification will be sent to the teacher informing them that their evaluation need attention.

Custom Teacher/Principal Notifications
Description: Send all teachers/principals at the selected school a custom message.
To enter the custom message, click the Notify button and a modal dialog will appear prompting you for the input.
