How does a principal sign off on the teacher's student growth goal?

Background:

The principal is required to sign off on a teacher's student growth goal. This article provides the steps to do so.

Follow these steps:

Click on the green Goals Sign Off button in the top right corner of the window.

A drop-down window will appear that:

  1. Informs you what to expect after the sign-off is complete;
  2. Offers you the opportunity to write a summary note in the text field; and
  3. Finalize the sign-off process by clicking on the green Sign-off button.

After you click on the green Sign-off button (above), a blue ribbon will appear across the top of the work space with the sign-off date on it. A notification will appear in the teacher's dashboard the next time that s/he sign into the eVAL tool.

Read the next article to learn how to share the principal scores with the teacher.
