The first step is to upload a video into your Uploaded Videos Library so that it can be used to bulid your Exemplar Video.

The Exemplar Videos section is within the Training section on the Left Navigation Menu. It will only be visible if your district has enabled either the Exemplar Videos module.

To create a new Exemplar VIdeo, click on the Add Exemplar button in the upper right corner of the previous screen. You will be presented with a modal dialog allowing you to select the video you would like to use in your Exemplar.

1. Select a segment of the video to represent the exemplar. You can use the slider to choose the Start and End time for the exemplar segment.  
2. There are two views for the video, the Full Video and the Exemplar Segment view.
3. Select the Rubric Component to align the exemplar to.
4. Associate Resources with the exemplar.

To view the exemplar as it will be displayed from the Exemplar Video Library to users, click the Preview button in the upper right corner of the screen.

To return to edit-mode click the Edit button.

Exemplars can be assigned to teachers without them being shared, but if you want the exemplar to be visible through the Exemplar Video Library then it must be shared.  To share the exemplar, click the "Share Exemplar" button in the upper right of the screen (shown in the previous screenshot).
